Stephen was very helpful and made a thorough assessment of my Grandad. He asked lots of questions and took detailed notes. He made an intervention to expedite a referral that was overdue due to a change in circumstances. He offered advice and expertise to get to the bottom and suggested a interim diagnosis and how we could go about getting a formal diagnosis should they not be able to bring the referral forward. He spoke to the pharmacist to make sure he was prescribing the medication with the least amount of side effects for his age and enquired about his living conditions and whether he needed any additional help. I could not fault the care and attention we were shown today and my Grandad was very happy and reassured when I took him home.

Stephan was a kind, open and understandable person who did everything he could to suggest, offer and help me. He showed he cared and knew what to do about your situation. His reassurance and care helped me.

Mr Ward took time to listen, at no time did I feel as though I was being rushed ,I was treated as a patient and not a number. He went out of his way to explain my symptoms and arrange my treatment at the hostpital. When my consultation was over, I left with a greater understanding of my symptoms I really can not thank him enough for his professional help. He really is a credit to his profession.
